Filmmaker Rakesh Roshan has revealed that he had mortgaged his house to make the film 'Kaho Naa Pyaar Hai'. He said – 'I had to mortgage my house for this film. However, I didn't tell Hrithik about this. Only my wife knew about it'. 'I managed other necessities with whatever money I had. If the film hadn't performed well, I would have had to shift somewhere else, but that didn't happen. I took this risk'. Rakesh Roshan said all these things in an interview with Mid-Day. Had to mortgage Mercedes for 2 lakh rupees Rakesh Roshan said – I wanted to shoot the song 'Tujh Sang Preet Lagayi' in Ooty or Kashmir, because this song is very beautiful. I needed a beautiful location for this song, so I mortgaged my Mercedes for 2 lakh rupees. I thought this was very easy. This was necessary to make a good film. I took this risk in making Kaho Na Pyaar Hai. Hrithik made his Bollywood debut with the film Kaho Naa Pyaar Hai. Ameesha Patel appeared opposite him in this film.
