Global Investors Summit to host 500 NRIs from 15 countries:Delegations from UK, Dubai Japan to participate; first-ever ‘Pravasi Madhya Pradesh Summit’ to be held

For the first time, 500 Non-Resident Indians (NRIs) from 15 countries will participate in the Global Investors Summit (GIS) in Bhopal on February 24-25. The summit will feature a large delegation from countries like the UK, Dubai, Hong Kong, Singapore, and Japan. The summit will also include a special "Pravasi Madhya Pradesh" session. 'Pravasi Madhya Pradesh' summit for global NRIs The 'Pravasi Madhya Pradesh' summit will be a key event at GIS. It is designed to be a grand reunion for NRIs from Madhya Pradesh. Most of the industrialists attending are originally from Madhya Pradesh. Interaction with key leaders NRIs attending the summit will have the chance to meet Prime Minister Narendra Modi, Chief Minister Dr. Mohan Yadav, and major industrialists. They will discuss ways to help Madhya Pradesh grow. The Overseas Department is responsible for organising this summit. Cultural tours for participants During the summit, the attendees will also get to explore the culture and heritage of Madhya Pradesh. They will be taken to places like Bhopal, Sanchi, Bhimbetka, and Udayagiri to see the state’s rich history. Investment opportunities for NRIs The GIS will have seven departmental summits, covering sectors like New Renewable Energy, IT and Technology, Tourism, Mining, MSMEs, and Urban Development. The 'Pravasi Madhya Pradesh' summit will specifically focus on encouraging investments from NRIs. Presence of NRIs from 15 countries NRIs from more than 15 countries are expected to participate. Chief Minister Dr. Mohan Yadav has travelled to the UK, Dubai, and Japan to encourage NRIs to join the summit. The largest delegations will come from the UK, Dubai, Singapore, Hong Kong, and Japan. Connecting NRIs with their roots The purpose of the summit is to give NRIs an opportunity to reconnect with their roots. The aim is to encourage them to contribute to the state’s development. The MP State Industrial Development Corporation (MPIDC) has made arrangements for their stay and food. Key speakers at the summit The summit will feature talks from the leaders of various 'Friends of MP' chapters. Some of the key speakers include Leena Vaidya (Abu Dhabi), Pramit Makode (Boston), Rohit Dixit (UK), Prerna Bhardwaj (London), and Lord Rami Ranger from the UK House of Lords.Original Article
