Khalistani posters found at 4 locations in Punjab:Terrorist and SFJ leader Pannu releases video on social media, threatens CM Bhagwant Mann

Gurpatwant Singh Pannu, leader of the banned group, Sikhs for Justice (SFJ), has once again put up posters in support of Khalistan in Punjab. These posters were spotted in four locations in Nakodar, Jalandhar. Pannu made a video of this act viral on social media and issued a direct threat to Punjab Chief Minister Bhagwant Mann. Video released to spread propaganda The video released by Pannu claims that Khalistani posters were put up in Nakodar while Prime Minister Narendra Modi was meeting then U.S. President Donald Trump. This marks a shift in SFJ’s usual strategy, as the organisation has primarily relied on graffiti and slogans in Punjab’s cities in recent years. Locations where posters were found The posters were seen at the following locations in Nakodar: Direct threat to CM Bhagwant Mann In the video, Pannu directly threatened Chief Minister Bhagwant Mann, claiming that his political downfall has begun from his native village, Satoj. He ominously referenced former Punjab CM Beant Singh, suggesting that those who put up Khalistani posters could escalate to more dangerous actions. SFJ and Pannu’s background Pannu hails from Khankot, Punjab, but is currently based in the U.S. He leads SFJ, an organization banned by the Indian government under the Unlawful Activities Prevention Act (UAPA) since 2019. The government recently extended this ban for another five years, citing SFJ’s role in fueling separatism and extremism in Punjab. In 2020, Pannu was declared a terrorist under UAPA for instigating violence and urging Sikh youth to take up arms. Reports suggest his actions are part of a larger conspiracy to destabilise Punjab. Authorities continue to crack down on individuals linked to SFJ, many of whom remain in police custody.Original Article
