Actor Avinash Tiwari has revealed that he got his first film Laila Majnu after 15 years of struggle. However, the film was removed from theaters just 3 days after release. He said "It took me 15 years to get that one film. I was tired because I didn't know what to do next." "I worked on the film for 3 years and it was removed from theaters within 3 days. I didn't know what to do. I wondered if I should try for another film?," Avinash shared about his struggling days in conversation with Hollywood reporters. 'Kept struggling for work even after getting acting degree' Avinash said, 'I approached acting as a form of education. I went to New York to prepare myself. I came back and felt that I was ready for it. Work comes after getting a degree. This was in 2007. I thought there would be a red carpet for me, but nothing like that happened. I didn't even know where to go.' 'I used to show my work through DVDs' He said, 'I avoided leaving my photos or portfolio at studios. I knew they would be rejected. They would be thrown in the trash. So I would make DVDs and show them at famous studios to demonstrate how I look on screen. I wanted to do films, but couldn't get work.'
