IPL teams brutally troll Pakistan on social media:RCB posts Sarafaraz’s iconic meme, Punjab mocks boring innings; GT praises Axar’s ‘jalwa’

With the India-Pakistan match underway, social media was obviously going to have a field day with viral moments and memes on Sunday. That's exactly what happened as even IPL franchises joined in on the fun, posting memes about Pakistan's faltering innings on their social media handles. RCB use famous Sarfaraz meme for PAK's slow batting Pakistan lost two early wickets but still managed a solid 55 runs from their powerplay. However, the scoring rate really slowed down after that with Mohommad Rizwan and Saud Shakeel batting and scoring at only 2.6 runs per over between 11-20. In reference to this, RCB posted the famous meme of former Pakistan captain Sarfaraz Khan yawning during the 2019 ODI world cup in England. RCB followed up with another iconic meme, of a Pakistan fan's "Waqt badal diye, jazbaat badal diye" dialogue, to encapsulate Pakistan's dramatic mid-innings collapse. Punjab Kings mock Pakistan's boring innings Another IPL franchise joined in on making fun of Pakistan's slow batting, as Punjab Kings posted a meme about being put to sleep and painfully having to watch Pakistan's innings. CSK laud Hardik, Axar's twin strikes Chennai Super Kings had a catchy caption to celebrate the back to back wickets for India that dismissed both set Pakistan batters, Saud Shakeel(62) and Mohammad Rizwan(46), breaking their century stand and putting India back on top in the game. GT praise Axar's 'jalwa' Axar Patel has contributed in a big way, during India's first innings performance against Pakistan. He ran out Imam ul-Haq with a pinpoint direct hit and then removed skipper Rizwan, the batter missing after charging down the track and being clean bowled. GT celebrated this by posting a meme from the popular web series 'Mirzapur'.Original Article
