From submerged buses to dry underpass: Minto Bridge no longer Delhi’s monsoon nightmare; Parvesh Verma shares video after heavy rain lash capital

Following heavy rains in Delhi, PWD Minister Parvesh Verma inspected waterlogging-prone areas, including the Minto Bridge underpass. He highlighted the government’s efforts in preventing flooding at key locations through monitoring, pumping, and infrastructure maintenance. The PWD is also working on repairing a stormwater storage tank near Bharat Mandapam to improve drainage and reduce monsoon-related disruptions.
