The United Aircraft Corporation (UAC) delivered a new batch of Su-34 fighter-bombers to the Russian Defence Ministry, the Rostec press service reported on Thursday. According to a Russian military pilot, the Su-34 aircraft can be used for different purposes, as well as “carry different weapon types and engage various targets with a large amount of ammunition”. “Following factory tests and trials in various operating modes, the aircraft joined the task air fleet with the Russian Aerospace Forces. This year, UAC plans to further increase the production of combat aircraft,” the corporation’s statement read.
