‘Zero Tolerance’: Jaishankar Sends Strong Message on Terrorism Ahead of SCO Meet in China

India has drawn a clear line ahead of the SCO Foreign Ministers’ Meeting in China. In a crucial meeting with Chinese Foreign Minister Wang Yi, External Affairs Minister Dr. S Jaishankar underscored India’s firm stand against terrorism, separatism, and extremism. “India hopes zero tolerance for terrorism will be strongly upheld,” he said, referencing India’s recent dissatisfaction with SCO’s silence on the Pahalgam terror attack while highlighting Balochistan in past statements. This comes weeks after Defence Minister Rajnath Singh refused to sign the SCO Defence Ministers’ joint statement in Qingdao. The omission of Indian concerns was seen as a serious diplomatic snub. Jaishankar also highlighted improving bilateral ties post the 2024 Modi-Xi Kazan summit, the resumption of the Kailash Mansarovar Yatra, and 75 years of India-China diplomatic relations.#russianwoman #visaoverstay #gokarnacave #karnatakanews #indiadeportation #forestlife #spiritualindia #ninakutina #gokarna #karnataka #toi #toibharat #bharat #trending #breakingnews #indianews
