According to a New York Times report, US President Donald Trump and convicted sex offender Jeffrey Epstein maintained a close relationship for 15 years. Photos from the 1990s show them together at parties, and court records confirm Trump flew on Epstein’s private jet at least seven times. In 2002, Trump called Epstein a “terrific guy” and “a lot of fun.” Their friendship reportedly ended in 2004 over real estate and Epstein’s inappropriate behavior at Mar-a-Lago. Trump has since distanced himself, calling the scandal a “hoax”.
