Heavy rainfall lashes parts of Mumbai; IMD issues red & orange alerts

Mumbai experienced heavy rainfall, prompting a yellow alert from the IMD, while Raigad was under an orange alert. In Madhya Pradesh, torrential rains caused the Narmada River to overflow, submerging a bridge and disrupting traffic. Red alerts for intense rainfall and lightning were issued for several districts across Maharashtra, Madhya Pradesh, Chhattisgarh, and Goa.
