US President Donald Trump has announced that he has ordered the deployment of two nuclear submarines in response to what he called “highly provocative” remarks made by senior Russian official Dmitry Medvedev. In a post on Truth Social, Trump wrote: “Following the highly provocative statements made by former Russian President Dmitry Medvedev, I’ve directed two nuclear submarines to be deployed to key locations — as a precaution, should these reckless and inflammatory words signal something more serious.” Watch.
