US President Donald Trump has once again claimed credit for stopping military actions between India and Pakistan in May. Speaking at the White House, Trump described Prime Minister Narendra Modi as “a fantastic man” and said the two countries are working on a trade deal. He added that both Modi and Pakistan Army Chief Gen Asim Munir were key in halting the hostilities. Trump’s remarks came just hours after PM Modi told him during a 35-minute phone call that the ceasefire decision was taken directly by the two armies, without any mediation. India has firmly rejected any suggestion of third-party involvement.#donaldtrump #narendramodi #indiapakistan #usindia #tradedeal #whitehouse #asimmunir #militaryaction #diplomacy #internationalrelations #nuclearpowers #peacenegotiations #moditrump #pakistanarmy #foreignpolicy #geopolitics #southasia #ceasefire #india #pakistan #toi #toibharat
