AI datasets by IIT-Bombay to simplify Indian texts, help in AI research

IIT-Bombay has digitized 30 textbooks on Indian knowledge systems, making them accessible on the AIKosh portal. This initiative provides a dataset of 2.18 lakh sentences and 1.5 million words, covering subjects like astronomy and medicine. IIT-Bombay and BharatGen have contributed 37 models and datasets to AIKosh, fostering AI innovation and research in India.
