Should You Subscribe to Augmont Enterprises IPO?

Brokerage views on the IPO are broadly positive, although analysts have also highlighted several risks.

Anand Rathi Research has assigned a "Subscribe for Long Term" rating. The brokerage noted that at the upper price band, the issue is valued at around 20.6x annualised FY26 P/E and 18.3x FY26 EV/EBITDA, suggesting that the IPO is fully priced. At the same time, Anand Rathi highlighted Augmont's strong brand, extensive distribution network, refining capabilities and scalable digital ecosystem. The brokerage believes these strengths position the company to benefit from the continued formalisation and digitalisation of India's gold and silver market.

Ventura Securities has also recommended investors "Subscribe", pointing to Augmont's integrated precious-metals ecosystem, established bullion network, refining capabilities, technology-led platform and strong customer relationships. However, investors should keep an eye on risks including gold-price volatility, high working-capital requirements, inventory management challenges and competition from traditional bullion businesses as well as digital gold platforms.

BP Equities has also given the issue a "Subscribe" rating. It considers the valuation of around 19.5x FY26 diluted EPS at the Rs 788 upper price band reasonable given the company's strong earnings growth. The brokerage highlighted the company's robust financial performance, integrated business model, favourable industry outlook and the increasing formalisation and digitalisation of India's gold market as key positives.
