‘Avoid new complexities’: Rajnath’s stern message to China

Defence Minister Rajnath Singh met his Chinese counterpart, Dong Jun, in Qingdao during the SCO Defence Ministers’ Meeting, where they discussed the resumption of the Kailash Mansarovar Yatra. Suspended initially due to Covid-19 in 2020 and later due to the Galwan Valley clash, the pilgrimage is now set to resume. Singh also gifted Dong Jun a Madhubani painting from Bihar as a gesture of goodwill.
