Basavaraju’s death due to ‘betrayal’ by some in core formations: Naxals

CPI (Maoist) has accused insiders within its Maad-based formations, particularly PLGA Company No. 7, of betraying their chief Basavaraju, leading to his death in Narayanpur. The group’s Dandakaranya Special Zonal Committee (DKSZC) cited compromised elements and surrenders for providing intelligence to the Chhattisgarh Police.
