BIG WIN For India: US Officially Tags Pahalgam Attack Outfit TRF As Terrorist Group | Op Sindoor

The United States has officially designated The Resistance Front (TRF) as a Foreign Terrorist Organization (FTO) and a Specially Designated Global Terrorist entity. TRF, believed to be a Lashkar-e-Taiba affiliate, had claimed responsibility for the April 22 Pahalgam terror attack in Jammu and Kashmir that killed 26 people, mostly Hindu tourists. The US State Department linked TRF to multiple recent attacks against Indian security forces. In response to the Pahalgam massacre, India launched Operation Sindoor targeting terrorist camps in Pakistan and Pakistan-occupied Kashmir. Foreign Secretary Vikram Misri said the attack aimed to provoke communal tension and destabilize the region’s booming tourism sector.
