Bombay high court sets July hearing to reconsider challenges to Maratha reservation law

The Bombay High Court has scheduled July 18 to begin fresh hearings on challenges to Maharashtra’s Maratha reservation law, following a Supreme Court directive. A three-judge bench will address petitions against the Socially and Educationally Backward Classes Act, 2024, which grants 10% reservation in public employment.
