Rupee fell to all-time low on 'Trump Tariff' announcements:Slid by 67 paise to 87.29 against US dollar The Indian rupee hit its all-time low of 87.29 against the US dollar on Monday, February 03, 2025. It slided by 67 paise and reached its lowest levels ever. 2. Home, auto loans to become cheaper after recent tax sops; RBI may cut repo rate by 0.25% in Feb 5-7 meet The Reserve Bank of India's Monetary Policy Committee (MPC) meeting will be held between February 5-7. It is expected that the RBI will reduce the policy interest rates. This will reduce the burden of high EMIs on common man who have taken home loan, auto loan, etc. 3. Gold continued its ascent at ₹82,704 per 10 gm today:Silver became cheaper by ₹220 at ₹93,313 per kg Gold reached its all-time high on February 3. According to the India Bullion and Jewelers Association (IBJA), the price of 10 grams of 24-carat gold increased by ₹618 to ₹82,704. Earlier, gold was at ₹82,086. On January 31, gold had made an all-time high of ₹82,165 per 10 grams. While, silver became cheaper by ₹220, reaching 93,313 per kilogram. Earlier, silver was at ₹93,533 per kilogram. Silver had made its all-time high on October 23, 2024, when it reached ₹99,151 per kilogram. 4. Tata Chemicals incurred a loss of ₹21 crore in the third quarter: Last year the company was in a profit of ₹194 crore, revenue decreased by 4% to ₹3,590 crore Tata Group's company Tata Chemicals Limited incurred a loss of ₹21 crore in the third quarter of the financial year 2024-25. In the same quarter a year ago, the company had clocked a profit of ₹194 crore. Meanwhile, in the previous quarter (July-September), the company had reported a profit of ₹267 crore. In the October-December quarter, Tata Chemicals generated a revenue of ₹3,590 crore from operations. On an annual basis, there was a decrease of 3.75%. Last year in October-December, the company generated a revenue of ₹3,730 crore. 5. Barbeque Nation share price fell on Q3 revenue dip: Co reported December 2024 PAT of ₹5 crore; SSSG rate, dine-in sale share also declined Barbeque Nation Hospitality’s share price fell 4% to ₹311 apiece on the Bombay Stock Exchange (BSE) on Monday as the company registered a marginal decline in revenue from operations to ₹328.89 crore in the December quarter from ₹330.87 crore in the same period last year.Original Article
