Chinese student held in US for smuggling biomaterial; wiped device; 3rd arrest this week

A Chinese Ph.D. student, Chengxuan Han, was apprehended at Detroit Metropolitan Airport for allegedly smuggling biological material, specifically roundworms, into the U.S. from China. Federal authorities state that Han shipped packages to individuals linked to a University of Michigan lab and made false statements to officials.
