CJI Gavai reflects on early struggles; gets emotional

Chief Justice of India, Bhushan Ramkrishna Gavai, shared his personal journey at a Nagpur event, recalling his family’s sacrifices and his father’s dream of him becoming a lawyer dedicated to social good, inspired by Dr. BR Ambedkar. Gavai, who initially wanted to be an architect, also humorously recounted a cheque bounce case involving actor Hema Malini.
