Corruption case: Punjab SAD leader Bikram Singh Majithia sent to 14-day judicial custody by Mohali court; bail plea in HC on July 8

Senior Shiromani Akali Dal leader Bikram Singh Majithia has been remanded to 14 days of judicial custody by a Mohali court following the completion of his 11-day police remand. Arrested by the Punjab Vigilance Bureau in connection with a case under the Prevention of Corruption Act, Majithia was presented before the court amidst tight security.
