Actor Prateik Babbar recently tied knot with his girlfriend Priya Banerjee. After dating each other for a longer period of time, he married her. However, his marriage has been in news for all the wrong reasons. Prateik didn't invited his father Raj and step-brother Aarya in the marriage. In a recent interview, Aarya Babbar expressed his disappointment and confusion over being excluded, as he had always thought he and his brother, Prateik, shared a strong bond. However, rather than directly blaming Prateik, Aarya suggested that there might be an external influence at play, leading Prateik to distance himself from the Babbar family. 'Someone might have influenced Prateik' In an interview with ETimes, Aarya Babbar shared his thoughts, saying he believes someone might have influenced Prateik’s decisions, causing him to cut ties with their side of the family. Aarya added that Prateik has decided not to reach out to anyone. Despite his feelings of disappointment, Aarya emphasised that he's trying to give his brother the benefit of the doubt. However, he expressed surprise and frustration that their father, Raj Babbar, wasn't invited. Aarya Babbar also took a playful jab at his father’s second marriage, remarking, "My dad married twice, Prateik has married twice, even my dog has two girlfriends." For the unversed Prateik Babbar is the son of the late actress Smita Patil and actor Raj Babbar. Raj and Smita met during the filming of their 1982 movie Bheegi Palkein, and Raj left his first wife, Nadira Babbar, to marry Smita. Tragically, Smita passed away at the age of 31 due to complications following childbirth, shortly after Prateik was born in November 1986.
