Ex-MLA Kishore Samrite gets 6 months in jail for threatening to blow up Parliament

A Delhi court has sentenced former Madhya Pradesh MLA Kishore Samrite to six months in jail for threatening to blow up Parliament in September 2022. Special Judge Vikas Dhull highlighted the gravity of sending a threatening letter and suspicious substance to the ‘temple of Indian democracy.’ Samrite, also received a fine of Rs. 50,000.
