France bans outdoor smoking: Parks, beaches, schools included

France is set to implement a smoking ban in various public spaces starting Sunday, including beaches, parks, and bus shelters. The new decree aims to protect children from passive smoking, extending the prohibition to areas outside schools and swimming pools. Violators will face a fine of 135 euros.
