'I killed her' Ali Abulaban's life took a dark turn on October 21, 2021, when he made a chilling call to his mother Wara. Born in Staten Island in 1992, Ali joined the Air Force at just 17. His posting to Okinawa, Japan, led him to meet Ana Marie, who would become his wife. Their initial romance blossomed during their time together there. However, years later, this seemingly perfect love story would end in tragedy, with Ali calling his mother about a horrific scene, sending her shocking photos of two blood-soaked bodies – one being his wife Ana's – before making a calculated 911 call claiming innocence. In 2014, Ali suddenly quit his Air Force job and moved to Virginia. On the other hand, Ana also quit her job and returned to her home in the Philippines. According to reports, one day while working in the Air Force, Ali raised his hand on Ana while on duty, which led to both of them being fired from their jobs. After this incident, both separated. A few days later when Ali found out that Ana was pregnant, he called her to Virginia and married her. In 2015, Ana gave birth to daughter Amira. When fans started taking more interest in his personal life, he began making videos about his married life and everyday issues, which really benefited him. Ali started feeling jealous of his wife's growing popularity In 2021, Ana and Ali moved to San Diego, where her growing social media success sparked intense jealousy in Ali. Their relationship deteriorated publicly, with Ali verbally abusing Ana during livestreams and accusing her of infidelity. Despite Ana's repeated forgiveness of his physical abuse and her domestic violence complaints, her pleas for help went unheeded. Ena wanted divorce from Ali In October 2021, after Ali broke Ana's shoulder in a brutal attack, she finally sought divorce. Hours before the murders, Ali sent Ana roses and gifts, only to find them abandoned at their doorstep. Using duplicate keys, he discovered destroyed roses inside. When Ana falsely claimed she was home during his call, Ali ransacked the apartment in rage, his suspicions deepening into a deadly obsession. Murder After Spying on Wife Ali secretly installed a listening app on Amira's iPad, monitoring their home from his hotel. He overheard Ana discovering the vandalism and calling a friend for help with cleanup before their daughter's return. Ana's mention of seeking a restraining order sealed her fate as Ali eavesdropped remotely. Ana called her friend home before death Overhearing Ana call Rayburn Baron, whom Ali suspected of flirting with her, he rushed home armed. Finding them on the couch, Ali fatally shot both in a jealous rage. Though he claimed calling 911 to save them, evidence showed he first called his mother, sending her photos of the victims. CCTV footage captured five gunshots and his subsequent call, contradicting his claims of remorse. During the hearing, Ali's mother also admitted that immediately after the murder, photos were sent to them, which were also presented in court. In Ali's defense, his mother said that when she was just 15 years old, Ali was born. After this, she got married and had 2 more children in a few years. Ali's troubled childhood, marked by his father's abuse, shaped his volatile personality. Diagnosed with ADHD at 17, his family hoped Air Force service would stabilize him. In 2021, before the murders, he sought help for mental breakdowns but was inadequately supported by medical professionals. Ali was clapping after hearing life imprisonment sentence Despite all arguments, in June 2021, Ali was found guilty of double murder and sentenced to life imprisonment. During this time, Ali was clapping while continuously using abusive language. Ali's disrespect continued even in court, verbally abusing the judge who sentenced him to life without parole. As of February 2025, he's seeking sentence leniency. A 2024 documentary, 'TikTok Murder', chronicles the case, including damning footage of Ali's public verbal abuse of Ana during livestreams.Original Article by Dainik Bhaskar
