Vatsala, believed to be Asia’s oldest female elephant at over 100 years, passed away at Panna Tiger Reserve, Madhya Pradesh. Chief Minister Mohan Yadav paid tribute to Vatsala, highlighting her role as a guardian of the forests and a symbol of the state’s emotions. The elephant, brought from Kerala, was cremated with full honors.
