इस अवसर पर, श्रीमती चंद्रकांता (उप निदेशक, रोजगार), श्री निरंजन खुगशाल (उप निदेशक, प्रशिक्षण), श्री दिनकर रावत (प्रधान ग्रेड - I, सरकारी औद्योगिक प्रशिक्षण संस्थान, निरंजनपुर, देहरादून), श्रीमती विनीता बडोनी (नोडल अधिकारी, यूकेएसडीएम), और श्री अरविंद कुमार शर्मा (एम 3 एम प्रतिनिधि), विभाग और प्रशिक्षण संस्थानों के अन्य अधिकारियों और प्रतिनिधियों के साथ उपस्थित थे।

समझौता ज्ञापन के तहत, प्रारंभिक चरण में देहरादून, हल्द्वानी, काशीपुर और पिथौरागढ़ में प्रशिक्षण केंद्रों के संचालन को प्राथमिकता दी गई है। परियोजना आवश्यकताओं, भौगोलिक स्थितियों और संभावित लाभार्थियों की उपलब्धता के आधार पर, अल्मोड़ा और बरकोट को भी अतिरिक्त प्रशिक्षण स्थानों के रूप में शामिल किया जा सकता है। स्थानीय परिस्थितियों, उद्योग की मांग और रोजगार के अवसरों को ध्यान में रखते हुए प्रत्येक प्रशिक्षण केंद्र के लिए कम से कम दो पाठ्यक्रमों का चयन किया जाएगा।
प्रस्तावित प्रशिक्षण कार्यक्रमों में आधुनिक और रोजगार उन्मुख तकनीकी ट्रेड शामिल हैं। इनमें जूनियर तकनीशियन – इलेक्ट्रिक व्हीकल, जूनियर तकनीशियन – ऑटो इलेक्ट्रिकल मेंटेनेंस, जूनियर तकनीशियन – ऑटोमोबाइल रिपेयर एंड मेंटेनेंस, जूनियर तकनीशियन – इंटरनेट ऑफ थिंग्स (IoT) और जूनियर तकनीशियन – प्लंबिंग शामिल हैं। इन ट्रेडों का चयन स्थानीय उद्योगों की आवश्यकताओं और युवाओं के लिए उपलब्ध रोजगार के अवसरों को ध्यान में रखते हुए किया जाना प्रस्तावित है।
Through this partnership, emphasis will be placed on equipping the youth of Uttarakhand with skills aligned with changing industrial and technological requirements, while also connecting them with employment and self-employment opportunities. Along with strengthening engagement with industries and placement support, special attention will also be given to the quality of training and post-training outcomes.
On the occasion, Dr. Payal Kanodia, Chairperson & Trustee, M3M Foundation, said that providing youth in Uttarakhand with skills aligned with industry requirements and connecting them with employment and livelihood opportunities is an important objective of this partnership. She said that this collaboration between M3M Foundation and the Department of Skill Development and Employment, Uttarakhand, is an important initiative towards making skill development in the state more industry-focused, employment-oriented and outcome-driven.
Through this partnership, continuous efforts will be made to strengthen pathways for quality skill training, better employment opportunities and sustainable livelihoods for youth.
This partnership will bring together departmental efforts and participation from the social sector in the field of skill development in Uttarakhand, working towards making training, employment and livelihood opportunities more effective for youth.
