Amitabh Bachchan, one of India’s most celebrated actors, faced a terrifying near-death moment on the sets of ‘Coolie’ in 1982. During a fight sequence, a miscalculated punch went too far—Bachchan took the hit, lost consciousness, and was declared ‘clinically dead’ before being rushed to the hospital. His co-actor, Puneet Issar who starred in the said action sequence with Amitabh faced isolation and unemployment for six months.
