‘I am judo-karate champion’: Sena MLA assaults staff, canteen license suspended

Shiv Sena MLA Sanjay Gaikwad assaulted canteen staff at the Akashwani MLAs’ hostel in Mumbai after being served substandard food. A video showed Gaikwad hitting a staffer after complaining about the “rotten” dal and rice. Gaikwad justified his actions, citing repeated complaints and invoking Balasaheb Thackeray’s teachings.
