The International Cricket Council (ICC) announced a 15-member match officials panel for the 2025 Champions Trophy on Wednesday (February 5), scheduled across Pakistan and the United Arab Emirates from February 19 to March 9. Veteran officials to take guard Six officials from the 2017 tournament return to duty, headlined by Richard Kettleborough, who officiated the previous edition's final in the United Kingdom. The English umpire, with 108 ODI appearances, leads the returning contingent alongside Chris Gaffaney, Kumar Dharmasena, Richard Illingworth, Paul Reiffel and Rod Tucker. Boon and Madugalle bring final-stage experience from 2017 and 2013 respectively.
