IIT-Madras, CII Institute of Logistics launch joint certification course in supply chain management

The Indian Institute of Technology Madras’ Centre for Outreach and Digital Education has partnered with the CII Institute of Logistics to offer joint certification programme in supply chain management (SCM). It will offer advanced skills and global insights, featuring informative video lectures from the institute’s faculty, preparing participants to excel in a competitive industry.
The SCM pro-certification programme has trained over 40,000 professionals in the past decade.
The course, beginning on April 1, is specifically designed for working professionals from manufacturing, IT, e-commerce, retail, FMCG or logistics companies and students from engineering, commerce, science or business management colleges.

Andrew Thangaraj, chair, CODE, said the revamped course would equip participants with tools to succeed in global and future-ready supply chain careers. K.V. Mahidhar, executive director and head of CII Institute of Logistics, said the collaboration with IIT-Madras would elevate the programme to unprecedented heights.
The course will include five modules with 30 hours of video content delivered by IIT-Madras faculty, e-study materials and downloadable transcripts.
