An Indian national, Ramalingam Selvasekaran, has been sentenced to over 14 years in a Singapore jail for sexually assaulting an 11-year-old girl. The high court found him guilty of rape and outrage of modesty, following incidents at his Jurong West shop in 2021. Despite his denials and claims of erectile dysfunction, the judge deemed the victim’s testimony credible.
