In a tragic terror attack in Niger’s Dosso region on July 15, two Indian nationals lost their lives and one—Ranjit Singh—was abducted, according to the Indian Embassy in Niger. Singh, who worked with a power transmission company, last contacted his family on July 14–15. His father, Mohan Lal, has made a heartfelt appeal to Prime Minister Narendra Modi and the central government to help secure his son’s release. The family, based in Ramban, Jammu and Kashmir, is in deep distress.
