Iranian state TV on Tuesday reported on Foreign Minister Abbas Araghchi’s response to US President Donald Trump’s claim of a ceasefire deal between Israel and Iran. Iranian state television broke into its programming to read Araghchi’s statements on air. Araghchi said Tuesday on platform “X” that Tehran will stop its attacks if Israel stops its airstrikes by 4 a.m. local time. The comment by Iranian Foreign Minister Abbas Araghchi marked the first official remarks by Iran to President Donald Trump’s claimed ceasefire between Iran and Israel.
