Iran timed its 70th and 71st waves of Operation True Promise 4 to coincide with Eid al-Fitr and Nowruz, the Persian New Year framing both as celebratory military statements. Wave 70 struck more than 55 locations across the region on Eid. Wave 71, launched in the early hours of Saturday, introduced super-heavy Emad ballistic missiles and multi-warhead Qadr missiles against Tel Aviv and Rishon LeZion, alongside an announcement of new offensive tactics developed after three weeks of systematically monitoring enemy vulnerabilities. The IRGC warned the battlefield would become “increasingly tight and difficult.” Trump called this a short-term excursion. Iran is ringing in its new year with its 71st strike wave.
