A senior Army officer allegedly assaulted four SpiceJet ground staff members at Srinagar Airport on July 26 after being asked to pay for excess cabin baggage. The airline claims the officer kicked, punched, and seriously injured the employees—one with a spinal fracture and another with a jaw injury. An FIR has been registered, CCTV footage submitted to police, and SpiceJet is pushing to place the officer on the no-fly list. The CISF intervened to control the situation.
