Kamal Hassan’s movie ‘Thug Life’ producers move Karnataka HC against ban over actor’s Kannada-Tamil remarks

Raajkamal Films International has petitioned the Karnataka High Court. The petition challenges the Karnataka Film Chamber of Commerce’s ban on the release of ‘Thug Life’. The ban follows Kamal Hassan’s remarks about the Kannada language’s origin. The film has certification under the Cinematograph Act. Raajkamal Films claims the ban infringes on fundamental rights.
