The Karnataka crisis has escalated sharply, with Chief Minister Siddaramaiah publicly taking aim at his deputy DK Shivakumar on social media – a rare and open display of tension between the two top leaders. Siddaramaiah’s unusually sharp swipe signals growing nervousness over the CM chair as DK shifts strategy from MLA arithmetic to invoking an alleged “promise” from the Congress high command. This move threatens to override Siddaramaiah’s numerical advantage and has clearly rattled him. The power struggle has now turned into a full-blown, ill-tempered public showdown, exposing deep fractures within the Congress leadership in Karnataka.
