Karnataka tiger deaths: 3 arrested for poisoning at MM Hills sanctuary; wildlife officials call it worst single-day tiger mortality in India

Karnataka Forest Department arrested three individuals, Konappa, Madaraju, and Nagaraj, for allegedly poisoning a cattle carcass that led to the death of a tigress and her four cubs in Male Mahadeshwara Hills Wildlife Sanctuary. The accused retaliated against cattle killings by spraying pesticide on the carcass. Madaraju is the son of Shivanna, previously detained and confessed to the crime.
