Lahore ATC refuses entry to Indigo jet facing turbulence citing Pakistan airspace ban: IAF sources

Indian Air Force sources reported that Lahore air traffic control denied IndiGo’s Delhi-Srinagar flight permission to use Pakistani airspace on May 21 due to an existing airspace ban for Indian-registered aircraft. The flight, encountering a hailstorm near Pathankot, was initially denied deviation towards the International Border by Indian authorities.
