Maharashtra puts stay on order allowing homeopaths to enter modern medicine

The Maharashtra government has put a hold on a controversial order. This order would have allowed homeopaths to practice modern medicine. The decision came after strong opposition from the Indian Medical Association. They threatened protests. Chief Minister Devendra Fadnavis assured them. A committee is now formed. It will review the matter. Resident doctors also expressed concerns.
