Massive demolition drive in Delhi’s Ashok Vihar, Wazirpur; 200+ homes on encroached land targeted, heavy security deployed

Authorities started demolitions in Ashok Vihar and Wazirpur, Delhi. A significant police presence was there. Over 200 residences on government land in Ashok Vihar faced removal. A similar operation began near Wazirpur’s railway line. This is the second clearance this month. Earlier, Chief Minister Rekha Gupta highlighted the dangers of railway encroachment. Similar actions occurred recently in other Delhi camps.
