Medvedev Proposes Vast Ukraine Buffer Zone, Analysts Say It’d Take Russia 91 Years To Achieve

Former Russian President Dmitry Medvedev proposed a massive buffer zone across most of Ukraine, claiming it would shield Russian towns from Western-supplied weapons. He shared a controversial map on social media, warning further NATO aid to Kyiv could justify territorial expansion. However, U.S.-based analysts from the Institute for the Study of War estimate it would take nearly a century to capture such a vast area.
