Mercury may touch 45°C in Delhi today, says IMD

Delhi’s temperature soared to 42.1°C on Sunday, crossing 40°C after 17 days, prompting a ‘yellow’ heatwave alert for Monday and Tuesday with potential highs of 45°C. Similar scorching conditions are sweeping Haryana, Punjab, and Rajasthan, with temperatures exceeding 45°C in several areas. Relief is expected from June 13 with predicted rain and thunderstorms.
