Following the poisoning of five tigers in MM Hills, Karnataka’s Forest Minister Eshwar Khandre has demanded a comprehensive report on tiger deaths in the state over the past five and a half years, during which 82 tigers were lost. Khandre seeks details on natural versus unnatural deaths, reasons for unnatural deaths, mutilation of carcasses, and actions taken against negligent foresters.
