Monsoon advances in North India: Heavy rains lash Haryana, Himachal Pradesh; more showers forecast till July 1

The southwest monsoon has progressed further into parts of Haryana and Punjab, bringing heavy to very heavy rainfall to isolated areas of north Haryana and Himachal Pradesh. Kurukshetra and Yamuna Nagar in Haryana, along with Kangra and Sirmaur in Himachal Pradesh, experienced significant rainfall.
