Mumbai police seize 710 bottles of opioid cough syrup in Malwani drug bust

Mumbai police arrested two men, Rizwan Ansari and Naved Batatawala, in Malwani for possessing 710 bottles of cough syrup mixed with codeine phosphate, an opioid pain reliever. The illegal product, worth Rs 3.5 lakh, was being sold for Rs 500 per bottle near MV Desai ground.
