Mumbai rains cause tragedy: Labourer dies as pit collapses at Andheri construction site

In a tragic incident in Andheri East, a 28-year-old labourer, Sonelal Prasad, died after being trapped under soil at a construction site on Monday evening. Heavy rain caused a portion of the excavation to collapse at Kadamwadi, burying Prasad. Fire Brigade and BMC teams conducted rescue operations, but he was declared dead upon arrival at Cooper Hospital.
