Vishal Yadav, a Navy staffer working as an Upper Division Clerk at the Directorate of Dockyard in Delhi, was arrested in Jaipur for leaking sensitive defence information to a Pakistani handler. The handler, posing as an Indian woman named ‘Priya Sharma’, first contacted Yadav via Facebook. He later shared classified details, including information about Operation Sindoor. Police said Yadav received around ₹2 lakh, including ₹50,000 for Operation Sindoor intel. Some payments were in cryptocurrency. He is on 4-day police remand as agencies probe possible accomplices.
